Welcome to our Push and Pull lesson series!
This is our first lesson and we will learn about forces. Forces are all around us. Some forces are easy to see and others are difficult to identify. A force is a push or pull acting on an object. This happens when an object connects with or influences the movement of another. Watch the youtube video about "how things move" and learn about how forces are an integral part of movement.

Now you should have an idea about forces and how things move. To test your knowledge, we are going to investigate push and pull forces on everyday objects and sort them using Venn diagrams. We will use Venn Diagram Creator to create a Venn diagram with two circles, one with the label push and the other pull. Now sort and add the following objects: hat, bag, pencil, paper, eraser, book, shoe into the Venn diagram, keeping in mind the forces you are using and how this influences the push or pull action. Once you have completed your Venn diagram save it and upload the file using the link below.
